This Is Now

Right now, I should be at the Spring Mentor/Mentee party. I received a call this morning telling me that my little mentee friend had gotten into severe trouble at school and her instructor had pulled the plug on her attending the Mentor party. She and I, had been talking about this party for weeks now, so it was so disappointing for me and I heard that the little one was crying very badly. I will see her tomorrow and am feeling somewhat anxious about that. Since I have met her, she has always been labeled as a child who the staff was trying to "figure out." I'm afraid that this latest series of incidents will continue to negatively label her. I am worried for her future. :(
