Run In With CRAY!

Yesterday I had 2 newer nurses meet each other for the 1st time. Instead of them doing a casual hello and see you later, they started sharing a bit too much personal info. about themselves to each other! It started when they walked our pup outside. Then they came into my kitchen, ignored me, and proceeded to get into a very lengthy discussion about their personal lives. One told the other that she was angry and needed therapy. The other was saying, "you don't even know me!!!" Doesn't this sound crazy to you? This was the craziest situation! I was on the phone with my sister, when I finally called out, "ok you two, let's wrap it up!!!" The shift change is at 9am. It was 930am by the time one of them left. Then jump ahead to 1100am when the on duty nurse got a phone call from the new nurse. But it was coming thru their employer, the home care office! They were talking about something and the one who was with me, called the office back and was reprimanding our scheduler about the incident. Both were warned about their personal boundaries. The newer one comes back for 4 nights in a row this weekend. Looking forward to it, NOT!!! I vow not to let the crazies get me.
