Ghost Town

It has been strangely quiet and noticeably empty around here. Not within my own apartment, but around the grounds in general. Maybe people are on vacation. Who knows? The only people that I have seen are those who are racing into the YMCA and back out again. Now that I face the "Y", I have noticed the visitation patterns. Very early a.m., mid-morning weekend times and mondays. Mondays are big. I'm sure to those who like to skip the weekend burn over the weekend. I am talking 5-7 cars in a row, all speeding into the Y. You can just feel the guilt! I get kind of a chuckle out of watching them all rushing around. It makes me remember my grandparents taking their walks in the afternoons. Or gardening...or cleaning...or fishing...or doing simple yard work. They were too busy to jump into the car and drive to a work out asylum. All to feel and be fit. Those two(next to my own 2 parents) were the most fit and happy people ever. I am still enjoying my new and quiet and peaceful view more and more each day. All good.
