Why is The Law Above You?

My son and I happened to see a resident outside with her two dogs today. They were in the open, grassy area near our apartment building. In fact, they visit this open, grassy, state owned area often. Like everyday. We were there with our dog Brody...just hanging out. The irresponsible dog owner and all of her family, take their dogs to this area so they don't have to bend over and clean up after their responsibilities. She happened to join us in the elevator on the way up to our homes and that is just what I asked her. "Why are you above the law and why don't you have to pick up after your pets?" It went on from there. I was so angry! I told her that she didn't deserve to have dogs if she wasn't going to pick up after them. She told me that the one dog only goes twice a day and she hadn't even gone! Ugh. Grrrr. She is so ignorant and I wish that I could have not even had the confrontation, but I have been "sitting" on it for weeks again. She actually accused me of being "an unhappy woman." Damn right, I'm unhappy! Not to worry, I called her worse than that! Breathe Colleen. You will never be able to fix stupid, even tho you have always thought that you could.
