I've been grounded today, due to my wheelchair having a malfunction of some sort. I happen to have a tilt feature on my chair and it was not doing just that...tilting! This left me in a slouched forward position for a few hours until I had to retreat back to bed. As we speak(so to say), we are visiting with a service man right now. Something has shaved downwithin the lift system doo-hickey-thing a ma jiggy and needs replacing after a part comes in. The good news is that in the meantime, I will still be able to use it. The chair is two years old and it seems like it's due for a little tune-up.
So, I'm feeling like I'm skipping school being confined to my bed and am getting back out right now. I did have to miss my school visit though and I missed it.
Gotta go...will write again tomorrw when i get back from the Mn State Girls' Hockey Tournament at the Excell!!! Very excited. ALso have friends coming over tomorrow night for more birthday partying!
Glad we know what the heck is wrong with it and can work with it when it decides to be naughty....lol Excited too about going to the Maddie's hockey game. You know I will have my camera in hand.
