In A Word, Exceptional!
I am so blessed to have these people as my parents. They are two of the most loving, generous and caring people that you will ever hope to meet. Today, they are celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary. It seems that the older we all get, the more special these anniversaries become! Celebrating for them is always in a simple, yet special way. They are marking the occasion with an outdoor festival visit and spending time with family. In my eyes, they are iconic. In a world of 50% and higher divorce rates,they represent all that is good and true about marriage!

Thank you, Colleen. It takes love, patience, committment, compromise, and family and friends to help make it through the tough times. The good times are easy, but that's not real life. There will always be ups and downs and that's all I know for now. Love you!!! Mom
