Brilliant Sunshine

I think that after 44 days (so far) this winter of sub-zero temps. and wind chills, we all have cold hands. And at least I am surrounded by people with warm hearts! I write about it a lot, but I am truly blessed to have a fine, group of women friends who will go out of their way every month or so, to bring me not only awesome food, but warm hearted companionship. it's kind of funny how we seem to congregate on monday nights for the crazy "Bachelor" show. There we all sit, screaming out and pointing out traits of the participants. And especially the bachelor himself. No one seems to have a favorable liking of him. Then, at the end of the show, "the Rose Ceremony," where one vulnerable woman is not going to remain in the running for the bachelor's mate. It's kind of a sad moment to see this, but I am so relieved for this woman. She is free of the show and go back to her home hopefully after learning a whole lot about herself. And the race will end and there will be a finish that we will want to see! If nothing else, this show is a complicated twisting and turning sociological experiment. It's on again tonight if you are the slightest bit intrigued and need to fill up a bitter cold evening indoors.
