Yes, Go Call Your Wife!

This morning, I had another visiting IV nurse come in to take out my med. pic-line. His name is Noel, pronounced, No Well and he was a very warm and friendly person. After the short procedure, he was asking me several questions about me and my condition and how did I manage to have such a positive outlook on life. And how was I managing to be joking and smiling 1st thing in the morning? I told him how once you've been scared by illness or under the weather for a while, and maybe having rough times, you accept that it was a gift to be ill or hurt or down in the dumps because you are that much more appreciative of everything you have once you feel better. Simple as that and you need to make the choice to be happy. He was impressed by this and said he had to go call his wife because he had been grumpy during the morning time before they had to go to work. He seemed to get it! And it was so neat to have a "real" moment with a caring stranger. P.S. I am feeling amazing! Thanks for all of the well wishes.
