Now I Remember Why
Why is it so hard to schedule a "well" check up? Of course, both clinics that I have been trying to visit, have new computer systems. And both systems did not recognize me! One system was still showing me as Seiler! I made just one appointment successfully. it took me 30 minutes (on a beautiful day) to schedule a check-up. The grumpy, little woman was very apologetic and I was understanding because being impatient wouldn't have helped anybody. At the end of the conversation, I found out the horrible news that my Dr. is no longer there! It's Dr. Amdahl. The main reason why these check-ups were tolerable. Good looking, smart, very enjoyable. He has been with me for the past 12 years and is only working in the rehab. hospital now. I am quite saddened by this news! I may have to stalk him just to visit him down in that hospital. My other visit is going to be to the Muscular Dystrophy Center. I haven't been to that clinic since 2009, so they need to refer to me as a new patient! I have called them twice in 2 days and continue to wait for a call back! Now I remember why I don't go in each year unless absolutely necessary! I also remember why it took me 2 years to get my current wheelchair. I like to just get a flu shot each year and keep on going.

I'm going to miss him too! He was such a good Dr. and handsome man! Maybe you will get another one like him? Maybe not. Oh well, he was good for a long time. Love you! Mom
