In The Zone
Hello. I am in the health zone lately. Getting ready for another cold, long winter. I have heard that the Farmer's Almanac
has predicted another loooooong and snd super snowy winter. Today I am headed to my Dr. for a quickie type check up and prescription renewal and flu shot! It's really flu shot time? For me, it works. It could have some mental preventative properties. I believe it is referred to as Placebo effect. Why not take a shot that can prevent so much awful illness? Anyways, I have been having a different kind of week. It's been high and low again! I had some friends over for Dancing With The Stars premier. HIGH. The next morning, my daytime nurse had to call in. LOW. My other nurse covered for her. HIGH. I got to run around with my kids last night. HIGH. We had fun in the Walmart and a bite together. I enjoy going anywhere with them. We had some good crack up moments. I really enjoy watching the dynamic of my two kids who are 23 and 18. They are adults now and the interactions and relationship between them is quite enjoyable. So, that is a HIGH. Come home and I knew the overnite for tuesday was not covered. LOW. Nurse Jen came in for a while and then my son was on duty overnite. HIGH. He was there for me if i needed him and I always sleep so well in that case. For now, all of my shifts are covered until the overnite of the 21st. I am waiting to meet and greet a couple more nurses. It is sooooooo hard to find a reliable one! So many just call in! Like it's no big deal. Some of them really take advantage of patients' good humor and needs. I said "some." I do have 2 who are extremely loyal and there for me no matter what. So, thank GOD for them. Enough for today. Have a blessed day. (I will do the same!) Going to focus on the HIGHS.
