5 Months

The 5 month wait for a grandstand show was finally over last night! As someone who worked a couple of years at the Mn State Fair, I have always been interested in who the acts/shows were going to be for the Fair. Well, this year, Tim McGraw was a big headliner. I purchased 2 tickets waaay back in April. My daughter and I looked forward to the date for 5 long months. No one wants to wish away summer, but this summer I had a good reason to look forward to Labor Day. I got to visit the old fairgrounds for a fun, fair visit which included the Tim McGraw concert. also featured was( Brantley Gilbert) who is an up and coming country rocker. Both acts were so worth all of the planning of tickets and commuter rides and admission etc. We had such ultimate seats. 4th row turned out to actually be front row, right and 30 feet from the performers. We were in a wheelchair section and positioned right between 2 gentlemen in chairs and I made it a point to say hi to each and their caregivers. It makes a big event like that where you are all very close to each other, just more comfortable and fun. I have been going to concerts for some thirty years now and I truly have to say that this had to be the best concert that I have ever been to. The fact that we were in front versus nose bleed seats helped A LOT!!! #feeling full of adrenaline from a tremendous show with my favorite concert goer...Cal!
