Boom!

And the day starts off with a BANG! In a 3rd attempt to have my nursing schedule emailed to me, I found out that my newer nurse Marie has decided to take this coming sunday off. She has been with me for about 3 weeks now and already called in "sick" 3 times and now wants sunday off. I have had 3 meet and greets in the past 2 weeks also. Remember, one was a nice, male nurse and I decided against him, well I told my scheduler that if he is available get him in here and to please get rid of Marie and her lazy attitude! I can't believe how unreliable some people can be. SHe knows full well that I have been having staffing issues. So, she is out of here as soon as they find her replacement. I go on and on about this issue because in my world of 24 hour nursing, it's kind of a biggie! If anyone knows of an overnite nurse who is very reliable, and needs a job, I'm your gal!
