Summer Is In FUll Swing

There has been a lot going on! The major "thing" is that I will be moving. All the way across the hall of my current apartment. I will go from #208 to #211. I am downsizing from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. The main reason for the move is that I will save $200 a month and that totals, do the math...$2,400 a year. I will also be facing the park for a hopefully much more quiet life! The freeway noise and children have taken a toll on me for the last 5 years. SO that will happen August 1st. We are having a grand garage sale at my mom's house in July. THe 4th week in Aug. I believe. LOTS of bargains. and STUFF! I got to scoop my little mentee friend Nina up yesterday. She was so surprised. We went to the park, the library, and a fantastic garage sale where it was grab a bunch of good "things" and pay a donation amount. We scored for her. I spotted a brand new with tags messenger style back pack. One that she said her mother would never buy her. 2 tops, sandals, poster, swimsuit(new)And all for $10. The best part of being with her these days is that she absolutely drinks in any and all special attention. And not just little, material gifts. She is so happy and simple. Nothing can compare to feel loved and appreciated! Enjoy the summer days.
