Dahlink!

So funny. you never know who you may meet around here. When you're just trying to catch a little sun. Also a break from talking. Nope, not today. I was just home from school and reading help with the 3rd grade class and had my eyes closed and looking up, when a little woman with a Russian accent approached me to talk about the rental retail space that is under my building. Turns out, she is the owner of a daycare in Minnetonka and was scoping out new sites for her 2nd center. I said "do you know about your competition around here? There is a daycare center right over in the City Hall across the street, plus a center in the YMCA. She said, 9do your best Russian accent..."Dahlingh, there is competishun everywhere..." Oh my gosh, it was sooo funny. She said,"I am from Russia.." I said, "I love your accent!" she then went on to tell me why her daycare is much more than a daycare...she cooks 3 meals a day if needed for your child and all of the food is lactose free, grain free, gluten free(same thing?) Her husband also came up and he was such a nice, patient (seeming) man. hey, someone has to hold the power.I'm thinking it is  Natasha. At any rate, they asked me about 20 questions referring to Lino lakes. Where are the houses? Where are the schools? Yada yada. I felt like the Chamber of Commerce for Lino lakes. Maybe I could be. Good chuckles. I had just told Nurse Jen..."well, you never know Robert Redford could just happen to walk up and stasrt a conversation!" Natasha and John were very nice and quite interesting, but NO Bob Redford...
