Good Thing

I know that lately I've been doing my fare share of complaining about my apartment and everything that goes along with apartment living. Well, today something good actually happened. We lost electrical power for a few minutes(not the good part) and that caused our microwave to short out or zap out. Basically, it died this afternoon. I went down to the office and was told our "super" would come up in a half hour. He came right on time and made the inspection...since it came with the apt., he is going to order a new one for us! Yes, exclamation point darn it! Something actually went smoothly and quickly. What a nice perk and kudos for living in my building. The appliances came with the unit. Hopefully, I didn't just jinx this whole thing by talking about it. Our new appliance should be here in 2 days. Anticipation.


I ran into a nice guy today who called my wheelchair a "cadillac." He had a Jamaican accent so it was like, "whoa maam, dat is a kaad-i-lack!" Made me smile.
