Today I re-signed my lease. Couldn't believe it was the 4th time signing already. This was the perfect opportunity for me to talk to them about my latest issues happening around here. THey(the maintenance guy Frankie and manager Jessie) were very supportive and she is going to write up a spring/summer rules and regulations for the building. We chuckled a little when I told her about the little girl that came into my apartment and the family barbecuing on the "poop patch" as I've termed it. Then upon arrival back upstairs, I watched out my living room window as the resident bullog (named Dozer) did his bizness right in the middle of the poop patch and his people didn't pick it up. This patch is directly in front of the office and I have no words. CAN"T FIX STUPID! I called Jessie and got her voicemail, so left a message and hopefully she can do a citizen's/manager's arrest of some kind.
Well, kind of a blah-zay update I know. Just not a lot going on other than the drama that is my apartment building.
Today, my Mom and I scoped out Michael's crafts for some flowers and little vases for my baby sister's upcoming nuptuals. We shopped for little arrangements for the reception which will be happening on a wedding reception cruise on a boat. It was fun. The ladies that work there are very sweet and I can tell very crafty. We also got some enamel paints for me to paint a collection of personalized wine glasses for the wedding party. A little nervous about this, but can make it work.
I actually had two encounters with older men today. There was a man in Arby's who asked me sev-er-al questons about my vent. and chair. Nice old guy complete with a 1950's crew cut. Thought it was funny that my young nurse had no idea what a crew cut even was. Then i talked to the man outside who is a wheelchair dude, maybe late 50's and is constantly picking the weeds around here. He's friendlier this spring than he was last year.
Ok, thanks for checking in. Have a good rest of the week.
