Overwhelming Shows

Today and tonight, I found myself being sucked into some really disturbing tv. Earlier tonight on Anderson Cooper, he was telling the story of a middle aged man and father who was allowed to have supervised visitation with his  2 very small boys while in the presence of a social worker. The social worker brought the boys to him in his home and he proceeded to lock her out of the house. Then he poured gallons of gasoline around the house, himself and his boys and ignited the fire which led to yet another unthinkable murder/suicide. They believe that he may have completed this act because the man's wife has been suspiciously missing and he believed the boys may have told authorities that they saw their mommy in the family vehicle's trunk. There is not much you can say except, mental illness that is just too hard to imagine. So unthinkable.
The second show that was a trainwreck was Hoarders and how these homes were condemmed and the people were in crisis because family members have died in these homes they are so bad. Roaches and spiders and rodents everywhere.
SO, I decided to switch to blog reading and reading my MDA Quest Magazine. I found some inspirational stories in each which have helped me to calm down my brain.

Got to get out on the trail today and focus on breathing deeply and relaxing. Only sign of wildlife were some squirrels and a man letting his dog run off leash. That dog was in pure delight and sheer heaven.

Goodnight and please pray for the people who are trapped by mental issues that ruin their lives.
Will have happy news to share in my next post. Peace.
