Is This February?

It is never so tropical in Minnesota during my birthday week. I call it week because it turns out I've been celebrating, a lot. The other night, my son chaueffered me down to Roseville and we met one of his uncles(my bro.in law)my daughter and her boyfriend and my niece and one of my nurses, Jen followed us down there for a little celebration. It was just so fun to be breaking with my winter routine and good to see everyone. We had a couple of cocktails, laughs and food. It is a mexican place that we went and of course the staff performs the happy birthday song with the sombraro etc. and clapping, oh the clapping. Our waitress knew that it was my birthday and I called out to her to tell her NO SINGING at my table. Once you've done this before...a few years ago...at a different mexican establishment, that's enough for me. Oh, and I ordered a "splendarita" it is their take on the Skinnygirl margarita...it was super sour and not quite right. Guess how much...8 bucks! You're better off telling them your own recipe. SHot of tequila, lime juice and a little soda. Anyways, the regular(full of sugar)margarita on the rocks was $4.99. go figure, more sugar is less expensive!
