Finally

I was finally able to watch a DVD that I've been holding (thru netflix) since before Christmas. "Crazy, Stupid, Love" with Steve Carrell and Ryan Gosseling. A really good cast. The story kind of meanders around a lot and sometimes a little slooooooow. I didn't want to be interrupted, so I settled into my room. Well, by the middle of the movie, I had to get the laptop out and focus on it and the movie. Don't get me wrong, most of it, I really enjoyed and thought there was some cleverness, but it was too much of overlapping coincidental events. At the end, everyone knows everyone else and it's just too much circumstantial and far fetch-ed-ness. In the end, I think everyone who watches this movie will take a little something different away with them. Wow, I'm now a movie critic! I give this movie a B-, or 3 out of 5 stars. Now I'm looking forward to "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close." It took me about a week to be able to remember this title. I finally had to resort to the old trick of 1st letters. E.L.I.C. Elic! works everytime. I swear it is this system that got me thru many a class.
Today is a bittersweet day for me and one of my newer nurses. It is her last day and darn it all, I'm quite bummed. She is perfectly trained in and knows what to do and just what I need semmingly every minute of the day. It comes down to weekend shifts. She works every other weekend for me and wants them free for the upcoming summer season. I even tried to offer her another weekday shift (she already works tuesdays for me) but to no avail. Just the way things work out sometimes. So now, I look ahead to the dreaded "meet and greets" that will be coming soon. May find someone as fabulous, we'll see. I'm reminding myself to not stress about it, but hate the process of training in someone new.
Looks like a great day outside, going out to feelk the freshness.
