Happy Valentine's Day from Sonny and Irene!Recently, I found this photo. of my maternal grandparents. On the back it simply states: February 13, 1943. 6 degrees below zero. If you look closely, you can see ice blocks that resemble igloo blocks. When I think of them out in the middle of a frozen lake at 6 below and then sculpting their shelter, it makes me love and respect them even more. I always knew they liked to fish, but this really shows how much they must have LOVED it. I am so glad that photos. like this pop up once in a while and I continue to feel the love connection with them. They were the greatest in so many ways. Aaaaaaw. Romantic huh? Even better than a heart shaped pizza!
