Live it Not Diet!
Hi friends and followers. Especially hi to my gals who came over last night. This group of women could run the world I tell you. Cheryl brought a great tater tot hotdish and plenty of it! Laurie brought some yummy salad and really yummy cookies and an economy size bottle of the vino. Mary brought the party veggie and dip tray with BROCCOLI, I love my broccoli. She also surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. So, everything was covered. What a much needed pick me up party. We hadn't been together in a while, and had much catching up to do. I honestly think we could talk all day and night if ever given the chance. Happy New Year women, not to be dramatic, but you are a real lifeline for me, especially when we are in the Artic Blast times here.

I love my new saying! Thanks Mary (and Richard Simons). I didn't do well on my "live it" last night with all the good food and beverages....but oh so worth it!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, your cooking always tastes extra good!
Had a grand time, as always ladies!
Hugs and kisses,
Laurie
That "Live It, Not Diet" is from the 80's... Can't believe you never heard that before!! But I am glad I could help! Agreed, the food, company and ambiance (like my big word???) could not be beat! Thanks for the GRAND night... and Laurie, you did NOT over eat! I had the half cookie.. went to bed with guilt on my brain! And we ate all that celery, which is NEGATIVE calories, so it's all good!!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
