Someone always has it worse.
I follow several disabled groups on Facebook. Today a young woman whom I know nothing about, posted a question to a certain Muscular Dystrophy group about how do we as disabled persons get around? There were several people (myself included) to comment that they had mini vans and accessible vehicles of various types. She replied to my comment in which I stated that I had 24 hour nursing. She wondered how I got it etc. While I was writing my response to her, I had a switch click! I was reminded once again that I have SO much. Earlier in the week, I was complaining to myself about doing my six month paperwork for the county and thinking what a hassle it is and here this stranger was able to make me see yet again just how much I DO have! And how I need to check myself if I do complain to anyone because even if it could be justified, it is a blessing in disguise! #GRATEFULforever.
