Meet and Greets

I met two potential overnite nurse candidates back to back this afternoon. The good part was that they were both early. Believe me, this is extremely rare. So, evidently they both plan ahead! I like this. One is from Liberia and the other, Kenya. The latter is a young man named Japheet and goes by Jay. Right before he was to visit, I had a moment of panic and wanted to call off the meeting. Mainly because he is a male. Decided to give him a chance and am pretty glad I did. I have to give everyone at least a chance because of the overnite nurse shortage. All is fine for now. He was very conversational, polite and didn't seem nervous. I will be the nervous one.
