Day To Day

Here we go again! My home care service wants me to meet a freshly hired, male nurse. They don't want to waste another minute and want him to come here a s a p, without a 'meet and greet." Even though a meet and greet was scheduled for next week. So, that is a major yikes. And then just now, I had the nursing service tell me that the woman who trained in last week and picked up 4 shifts....wants to come in tonight for another training session!!! With an hours notice. Thanks for that. She (the new hire) had told me that she was responsible for 3-6 patients a night for over 10 years. And I am the one who requires more training? At the risk of sounding like a mundane teen, "whatever!" I need to find some confident nurses! I am a healthy wheelchair dweller and wish that more people who work in the healthcare field would "get it!" That is all. For now. Blah, blah. my life is anything but boring.
