High Low

Have you ever played the high low game? I used to play it with my kids during dinner time. Simply said, you describe the highlight part of your day and the low point. I've been having a lot of both lately. High...the weather's been great, low...storms! The latest storm yesterday morning actually had lightning that struck our building somewhere. This in turn set off every fire alarm in the building. They are so painfully loud. I think to stir people up and out of the building. Just one problem for me...the elevators were both out and we were forced to camp out for an hour and a half  in a little closed off part of the hallway until they could shut the blaring alarms off. I was not happy as i had several plans for the day. The 1st was to meet my Mom and sis. for lunch so we could catch up. So dissapointing. Then around   6pm, the office manager called to tell me that the elevator man had to order a part and it will not arrive until saturday sometime. When I was told, I felt like I had just been given an extended sentence. Had to breathe and pick a positive thought. Today, I plan on doing some organizing of stuff, toes, painting, try out my new, hot rollers. This LOW too shall pass, but what a bummer. 
Another high from a few days ago was that I finally got a new microwave...low was that it was quite miniature in size. However, the next day, I  was presented with a brand new normal size one! So a high point again!
