Awareness

I can't believe that I still hear people(radio, TV people) joke about the old commercial "I've fallen and I can't get up..." If this has ever happened to you, I am here to tell you that it is not in the least bit funny. For some, I'm sure it is hard to imagine. The 1st time it was really hard was when I was helping my then 2 year old daughter pick up toys in her room with a grabber/gripper. I stepped on a random little toy and went down, cracking my forehead open on the way. She had to rush to the phone for me. Blah, blah. Everytime that I went thru a little bit of tragedy like this, I would chalk it up to getting thru another one. (another "mis-hap") It was all over with and I never thought any of these mis-haps would affect any of my family members (let alone me) at any time in our futures. So wrong. Oh how I love my kids and family members and friends for sticking by me. I made it thru some of the rain!
