Girls Gotta Have Her Wheels

I am anticipating a typical day today! Is there such a thing though really. Yesterday, I actually had both kids together in the same space for about 5 minutes and what were we discussing? Their latest physical ailments! My son's foot is better and he does remember a minor skateboard crash, geesh, and my daughter got poked in the eye the other nite at her work with a zip-tie wrap do hickey. An EMT who works with her drove her up to the little hospital in Sandstone. Her eye was scratched, but the Doc. said it would heal on it's own in a couple days. I looked at them both and told them, "if either of you are thinking of having children in the future, TWO IS ENOUGH!" We had a good chuckle from it.

I just got off the phone with my wheelchair people. The company that takes care of parts for my chair. I requested a new set of wheels. Through medical assistance, they are covered for a new pair each year. I can tell by looking at my current ones, that the tread is wearing down. I can also tell by the little bit of wobbliness that occurs with a worn tread. I am really excited to have new wheels for spring! There's a lot of sun to be soaked up and new trail to be explored.

Things are good, hope is the same with you all.
