Fresh Start, All Over the Place This Morning

My overnite nurse totally cleaned out my computer, hooray! It is whipping right along this morning and it feels great. So lucky to have someone who can do this for me! So, this sent my morning on the upswing. Then, came the downswing. My son came home limping from school yesterday and said his right foot is in terrible pain and he can't hardly walk on it. He just limped out of here and I'm going to make an appointment for him to be seen. It's the same foot that he had surgery on a year ago, but in a totally different spot. This is another time when I marvel at the fact that my mom had five children with all of their various ailments. Like braces! Three of our five had braces. Poor thing almost fainted a couple of times during certain procedures. Anyway, I'm glad I have medical coverage and he can be checked out. Since he and his Dad don't see too much of each other, this will be a good side trip for them.
Another upswing this a.m. was a nice email from an old friend. Then there was another downswing right after that. I heard the news of a snowmobile crash on Reshanau Lake that occurred at around 1 in the morning.(bar closing time.)It isn't too far from here and my nurse heard all of the sirens etc. One man is dead and the passenger still clinging to life. I always think of this scenario when I drive by the local bar which is on a lake and there are always snowmobiles parked outside. How do they get away with this?, I often wonder. So, now I need another upswing moment. I'm hoping that another one comes around real soon.
