It's official, the birthday season has begun in my family. My younger brother Bill kicks it off in January, then it's me in Feb. and my 1st younger sis. in March. We are the Irish triplets. I also have a niece who is in Jan. and my daughter in March. Lots of celebrating. Why not? In wintertime in Mn, we don't even need a reason, but birthdays are a good one. We all went to one of favorite places in town, a local bar called Cowboys. Got our favorite table and then didn't experience the greatest service with our 1st waitress, but it was okay after they gave us a more experienced waitress and decided to charge us very minimally because they were some pretty bad errors. I'll go back, they have really good food and I like the atmosphere. In fact, I was transfixed on this elderly cowboy roaming around by himself. He looked like the real deal. Cowboy hat of course, a pretty, embroidered white shirt, spangly buckle and belt, boots and he looked crusty and sly. Fun people watching. I love people watching. Trying to figure out what makes people tick. So, it was fun. happy Birthday again, bill.
On a sad note, my sister's dog Tiger, whom I've written about before, was peacefully laid to rest yesterday. They had been helping him battle cancer for several months now. it was finally time to let him go.He had a great life with them and they can rest knowing that they did everything they could for him. He was a special dog for sure. There was always a positive presence about him and he was sweet to everyone and so playful. If you sat near him, you would always get a big paw on your arm. Loved just being loved.
That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!
