Rush and Crush

This past tuesday, I found out that I had won 2 tickets to an FM 107.1 event which I attended last night(weds.) I listen to this talk radio station for at least a little while each day. They specialize in celebrity gossip and pop culture. Well, this event revolved around their "Manuary" January contest. It is a contest where local, male celebrities are nominated to win Minnesota's man of the year, so to say. People vote each day for a few more days. So last night, I got to meet all of the DJ's that I listen to and some of the local, male contestants, so it feels like I know these people already. Each one was nicer than the next. We had free food and I treated myself to a couple of Lemon Drop martinis. How bad could that combo. be? Not bad at all...I had so much fun and this event gave me a big boost! I did something that was so different and not in my regular comfort zone. It turned out to be right up on my list of the most fun 2 hours of my life. I have to thank Nurse Jen for bringing me.
